He also worked for the Llano County Appraisal District for 5 years before retiring to run his ranch full time.
While living in Austin, Bill found the time to take woodworking, welding, and art classes.
Great Grandchildren include Raegan O’Leary and Carter O’Leary.
Bill was born on October 12, 1940, at Llano’s First Hospital, then located on the Courthouse Square.
He loved his family and deeply treasured his numerous friends.
Marthlyn was preceded in death by her parents - Stella and W. Burnett, husband - Raymon Chism, son – Rusty Chism, sister - Francis Fisher, and brothers – Jack Burnett and W. Grandchildren include Travis O’Leary and wife Rachel O’Leary of Austin, TX, Tyler O’Leary of Hutto, TX, and Mark Altenhoff of New Braunfels, TX.
He loved to travel with his wife in their RV and was the happiest when taking his two granddaughters, Aubrie and Catie, along.
Together they visited many historical places, state capitols and museums.
He graduated from Llano High School and attended the University of Texas, earning a BS in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Environmental Health.
Bill was the most loving, faithful, patience, honest, modest and kind man.
